Want to upgrade a component on your older Steiner tractor or attachment? We may have a solution. Upgrades include rear mower deck roller and bearings, post-1985 tractor hitch arms, S-20 to 430 rear skid plates, foot platforms, and rebuilt hydraulic pumps and motors.

The CoolTop is a canopy with a fan for use on any machine with a rollbar. It is great for keeping the operator both out of the sun and cool, plus will help keep dust away from your machine. Our brackets raise and level the CoolTop on a Steiner or Ventrac tractor to help ease ingress and egress from the seat.

We offer weight bars and weight options for older Steiner tractors and current Ventrac tractors. The 410/415 and 420/430 weight bars are no longer offered by Steiner, and they can hold up to four (4) or six (6) weights each, respectively. The Ventrac weight bar option (holds two (2) weights) was created by us when attachments began getting heavier in 2017. When working on steep slopes, it is a great option to keep your machine better grounded. 

Many of our customers have unique needs. Over the past 30 years we have designed and built a number of one-off attachments for Steiner and Ventrac tractors including an oversized slip scoop, aircraft towbar/tug, and a rafter blower for use in a poultry house.

For the past 10 or so years, Steiner has offered a repower kit for 420 and 430 tractors. Should an original engine no longer be worth repairing, this kit can be installed. From Steiner, the kit includes a Kohler 25hp v-twin engine and all parts needed to install it in the tractor. However, here at KFSE we have been installing the more powerful and efficient Kohler 26.5hp EFI v-twin engine. This install from us also includes a KMSI-built hood scoop to accommodate the larger, Donaldson air cleaner.

All built at KMSI, our wearable component upgrades offer heavier, stronger steel than that of our OEM's.
